Column Five Media

Designer
2021 - 2023

Column Five is an award-winning creative agency with a focus on brand storytelling, and a pretty big deal in the SaaS marketing space.

The lion’s share of my work with Column Five was the creation of content marketing materials, with a particular emphasis on illustration work.

During my time here, I was fortunate to create some extraordinarily cool stuff for clients like Dropbox, Instacart, UCLA, the Motion Picture Association, Pacific Life, and Happy Money, among others.

Dogfort Creative

Co-Founder
2020 - Present

Dogfort Creative is the creative content agency that my wife and I started in March of 2020 (unfortunate timing, right?)

Lockdown hit days after we opened our doors, but we decided to forge ahead and keep on trucking with an agency of our own.

Some of our client success stories include expanding into supermarket shelves across the state, going on to become bestselling authors, launching new programs which have then gone on to secure private coaching sessions, and graduating from in-house coffee bars to standalone physical spaces.

Freelance

Graphic Designer
2016 - 2020(ish)

The wild west period in my career. Sweatpants, zoom calls, dark, sunken eyes, tumbleweeds made of post it notes. Great times, would recommend.

During this time I primarily contracted through a local marketing agency to help create brand identities, as well as wear a few hats of my own as a project manager and designer-at-large.

While I now run a proper agency with my beautiful and talented wife, I haven’t quite hung up my spurs and can occasionally be found working as a free agent.

Zephyr Hats

Production Designer
2013-2016

I’m a real designer, mom!

I cut my teeth working at Zephyr, a pretty big name in the headwear game, particularly for NCAA and NHL (at the time).

During my time here, I was responsible for many of the product catalogues that went out to accounts, as well as a number of styles that would later find a place in seasonal product lineups. One of my claims to fame at Zephyr was the reworking and improving many of the threadmaps for college mascot embroidery. Many hats I worked on can still be found out in the world protecting heads from sunshine, rain, and bird poop.
